ROMERÍA propone unir las actuaciones de algunos de los artistas audiovisuales y djs más respetados en el panorama nacional e internacional a un tradicional día de campo en una de las bodegas más hermosas del país. A las vistas excepcionales se une el encanto de un lugar histórico, la abundancia de vegetación y de agua y la intimidad propia de unos jardines conventuales. Todo esto a escasos 15 minutos a pie del centro de la ciudad.
La intención de ROMERÍA es atraer y juntar a peregrinos de todas partes y a nuestros vecinos para mostrarles nuestra propia visión de lo mejor de esta tierra al mismo tiempo que se disfruta de una selección de artistas que traen experiencias audiovisuales que rara vez se ofrecen en un escenario como este.
Actuaciones en directo, zonas de baile, gastronomía local y catas experimentales de vino son algunas de las actividades que se proponen para llevar un día tradicional de campo al siguiente nivel y fomentar el intercambio y las nuevas relaciones entre los participantes, profesionales y artistas.
Después de haber organizando varios festivales en Ronda con distintos formatos y de haber participado activamente en la organización de muchos otros, desde DURO VINO llevamos varios años reflexionando sobre la naturaleza propia de la ciudad y sobre cómo debería ser un festival que incorpore y haga visibles todas las características reales que hacen de Ronda lo que es.

ROMERÍA aims to bring the performances of some of the most respected audiovisual artists and DJs in the international scene to a traditional picnic in one of the most beautiful wineries in Spain. Beyond the exceptional views, it offers the charm of a historical place, luscious vegetation and abundance of water and the intimacy of the old conventual gardens. An intimate utopia shared with new friends from around the world, soon to become old ones. All this within 15 minutes walking from downtown.
The intention of ROMERÍA is to attract and bring together pilgrims from all over as well as local ones to be introduced to our own vision of this land, while enjoying a selection of artists that bring some exceptional audiovisual experiences that are rarely seen on an monastery-like scenario.
Live shows, interactive installations, dance areas, local gastronomy and experimental wine tastings are some of the proposed activities to take a traditional ROMERÍA to the next level and to facilitate the encounter and new relations among the festival-goers, professionals and artists.
Having organized several festivals in Ronda with different formats and having actively participated in the organization of many others, from DURO VINO COLLECTIVE we have been reflecting on the very nature of our city and how festival should be to incorporate and make all really visible the main characteristics of Ronda.
